Role:
We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive to join the Allivet Business Development team.  Their primary focus will be on managing and expanding existing business and functional partnerships that align with Allivet's strategic goals. In addition, they will drive new business growth by identifying and exploring new prospects and market opportunities that lead to long-lasting, strategic partnerships in line with the organizational objectives. The Account Manager, Strategic Partnerships will manage the entire partnership lifecycle, from identification to evaluation. Essential qualifications include a proven track record in partnership management, exceptional communication and presentation skills, strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, and excellent relationship management. This role involves building and maintaining high-level relationships. 

Location: Full-time Remote.

Travel Requirements: Must be able to travel for client meetings and industry events (35 % of time)

Responsibilities:
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing key ecommerce clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to drive business growth.
  • New Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
  • Manage sales funnel, develop leads, and build industry relationships.
  • Negotiate terms of sales and agreements, and close sales with key decision-makers including C-suite and VP-level executives.
  • Hands-on strategist and sales contributor with the ability to grow and manage sales pipelines through account expansion and driving new business.
  • Proven experience of both devising strategic initiatives and implementing them with precision.
  • Develop proposals and present economic models that clearly outline potential benefits and ROI to prospective clients.
  • Utilize data and analytics to track performance metrics, provide insights, and continuously improve client engagement strategies..
  • Gather market and consumer information; providing support, information, and guidance to partners.
  • Consistently achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and lead conversion goals.
Qualifications:     
  • 5+ years of work experience managing and expanding relationships in E-commerce/Subscription business.
  • Prior success prospecting and selling E-commerce/SaaS solutions into large and medium-sized corporations and where a 6–12-month (or longer) sales cycle has been typical.
  • Proven track record of closing multi-year deals with key retail executives (C-suite, VP level).
  • Pet/Veterinary experience a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Values the importance of teamwork and works effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. (Word, Excel, PPT, Outlook).
  • Strong sales, negotiation, and deal-closing abilities.
  • Experience in scaling up enterprises and navigating high-growth environments.
Compensation: The compensation range for this role is an 80/20 split between base salary and variable compensation, for an OTE (On-Target-Earnings) pay range of $120,000-$150,000. Pay is based on multiple factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is eligible for variable pay via a business development compensation plan. This plan pays according to achievement level against targets and/or business objectives.
