The Fabrication Worker will perform general facility maintenance, custom metal/materials fabrication, basic carpentry, electrical upkeep, and complex mechanical repairs across stationary and mobile plant equipment. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines.
This is a shift position, with day shit and overnight shift options available, out of our Monessen, PA facility.

The Fabrication Worker will perform general facility maintenance, custom metal/materials fabrication, basic carpentry, electrical upkeep, and complex mechanical repairs across stationary and mobile plant equipment. This position requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in order to meet deadlines.
This is a shift position, with day shit and overnight shift options available, out of our Monessen, PA facility.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Inspect, diagnose, and maintain mechanical equipment, machinery, and production systems to prevent operational downtime.
- Perform routine scheduled and emergency maintenance on both stationary industrial machinery and mobile facility equipment.
- Troubleshoot, repair, or replace broken, worn, or malfunctioning mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
- Execute a proactive preventive maintenance (PM) program on a regular basis to optimize machinery performance and extend equipment life cycles.
- Layout, measure, cut, weld, and fabricate metal, plastic, or composite structures and replacement components supporting plant operations.
- Execute general facility repair work on premises, including custom carpentry projects and non-complex electrical system troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Utilize power tools, welding units, precision measuring instruments, and hand tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain detailed records of all daily maintenance activities, inspections, work orders, parts inventory usage, and equipment repair histories.
- Prioritize daily maintenance requests independently to align with operational deadlines and high-priority facility needs.
- Consistently follow all plant safety procedures, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols, and OSHA regulations to promote a safe and healthy work environment.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) at all times and maintain a clean, organized work area across facility ground.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade training preferred.
- 1+ years’ proven experience in industrial maintenance, machinery repair, metal fabrication, welding, or related technical trades.
- Hands-on proficiency across mechanical, electrical, carpentry, and fabrication disciplines.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic skills to troubleshoot complex system failures independently.
- Basic computer proficiency preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to enforce quality and safety standards consistently.

- Work in a physically demanding, high-heat, deadline-driven, and production-focused setting.
- Working is performed in an industrial manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, moving equipment, heat, dust, materials from operational area, molten metal, and extreme temperature variations.
- Regular outside work required with exposure to weather conditions of extreme cold, and extreme heat.
- Prolonged standing and walking throughout the shift, and must be comfortable working from ladders, scaffolding, or elevated platforms when required.
- Frequent lifting, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs. Climbing stairs and working at varying heights as required.
- See, hear, talk, and perform tasks requiring manual dexterity and visual acuity; kneel, sit, stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, reach, pull, push and other similar, repetitive tasks requiring physical activity.
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas.
- Willing and able to work overtime when needed.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
