Studio Raw Elite is seeking a Floor Supervisor that will be responsible for the smooth and efficient operation of our salon floor, maintaining a high standard of service, and supporting our stylists and clients. This position requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and leadership skills, a passion for the beauty industry, commitment to promoting good energy, and contributing to a positive and productive salon environment.

Key Responsibilities:
    • Floor Management & Client Experience:
      • Oversee the daily operations of the salon floor, ensuring a seamless and efficient workflow.
      • Greet and welcome clients, manage check-in process and address any concerns.
      • Manage the client flow, while monitoring client satisfaction throughout their appointment and actively resolve any issues that may arise.
      • Maintain a clean, organized, and aesthetically pleasing salon environment.
      • Ensure adherence to salon policies and procedures regarding client service and safety.
    • Stylist Support & Team Collaboration:
      • Support and coordinate the work schedules of stylists, assistants, and reservationists, ensuring they have the necessary supplies and tools.
      • Assign tasks for assistants and delegate responsibilities based on workload.
      • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to staff to maintain high service standards.
      • Address staff performance issues promptly and professionally executing the corrective action process as needed.
      • Assist in training new staff members on salon procedures and client service standards.
      • Relay important information from management to the styling floor.
    • Operational Efficiency:
      • Manage salon floor flow to optimize stylist productivity and minimize client wait times.
      • Monitor inventory levels of retail products and salon supplies placing orders as needed
      • Ensure adherence to salon policies, procedures and safety regulations.
      • Conduct regular cleaning and sanitation checks to maintain a hygienic salon environment.
    • Sales & Marketing
      • Promote retail products and services with staff, encouraging additional sales opportunities.
      • Complete and ensure new clients receive thank you cards.
    • Administrative Support:
      • Maintain accurate client records and appointment scheduling.
      • Assist front desk in processing payments and handle cash transactions as needed.
      • Handle phone calls and email inquiries in a professional and timely manner.
      • Assist with general administrative tasks as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or GED. Cosmetology license not required but preferred.
    • 1+ year experience in a supervisory or customer service role within a high-end salon or similar environment.
    • Strong understanding of salon operations and client service standards, including scheduling, inventory management and client booking systems.
    • Proficiency in salon software and point-of-sale systems.
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong leadership abilities to motivate and manage team.
    • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Familiarity with hairdressing services and products.

Physical Demands of Position:
    • Supervisor will be on their feet extended periods of time, walking around the floor to monitor operations and staff.
    • Tasks like restocking shelves and assisting with displays may require bending, stooping, and reaching for items at various heights.
    • May need to lift up to 20lbs and carry items like laundry baskets and product cases.
