Acquisitions Analyst
MRK Partners is seeking a dynamic Acquisitions Analyst who will be responsible for supporting investment decisions through the financial analysis of multifamily real estate transactions, including acquisition-rehab and new construction.

Job Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain Excel-based underwriting models for multifamily acquisitions and new development projects.
- Analyze historical operating statements, rent rolls, capital needs, and market data to support assumptions.
- Conduct rent and sale comparability research for underwriting purposes.
- Model capital stacks including senior debt, seller financing, and equity.
- Interpret and abstract key information from regulatory agreements, promissory notes, and seller documents.
- Develop and defend underwriting assumptions and cash flow projections for multifamily acquisitions — including rehab scope, operating expenses, and revenue growth — supported by market data and historical performance.
- Present financial models, underwriting assumptions, and scenario analysis to the Director of Acquisitions and leadership team.
- Manage and prioritize their own deal underwriting pipeline, ensuring timely updates and clear communication with team members.
- Maintain organized files and version control for underwriting models and supporting documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, mathematics, economics, real estate, or related field required.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience as a financial analyst or acquisitions analyst in real estate is required. Affordable housing background preferred.
- Knowledge of real estate and experience working in an Asset Management environment preferred.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting applications.
- Experience working with Monday.com Work OS and RealPage software preferred but not required.
The compensation range for this role is $70,000-$80,000 salary, based on experience.
