Exus is seeking a Senior Human Resources Manager to lead and manage the day-to-day human resources functions and operations within Exus.  This resource will foster a positive and inclusive work environment that aligns to the company values and objectives, partner with management to develop and retain top talent and manage efforts around performance management, employee engagement, policies and procedures, inclusion, and change management and continuous improvement. Please note: this is an fully onsite role with reasonable flexibility in our Downtown Pittsburgh office. 


Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead all employee relations initiatives ensuring balanced advocacy for the needs of the organization and the needs of the employees while ensuring adherence to all policies.
  • Partner with management to improve employee engagement and productivity through training and development, performance management, and positive employee relations.
  • Provide hands-on support to employees and managers to better understand people and human resources processes, policies, and standard operating procedures to maximize organizational effectiveness and ensure compliance.
  • Collaborate with management to understand the business strategies, goals, objectives, and financial performance of the organization; build ongoing relationships with organization leaders and managers.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for the Exus PEO system- manage questions and change requests regarding benefits, payroll, insurances, etc.
  • Serve as lead of Exus future PEO/benefits selection and transition to an in-house model.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify and nurture high-potential employees for key roles.
  • Develop and implement succession planning programs to ensure a pipeline of future leaders.
  • Establish key HR metrics to measure the effectiveness of HR programs and initiatives.
  • Oversee the administration of the recruitment process, ensuring the attraction and selection of high-quality candidates.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be substituted.
  • Minimum seven years of experience in HR management, with roles of progressive responsibility required.
  • Proven track record of leading HR programs throughout a growing organization preferred.
  • Prior experience providing strategic HR guidance to senior leadership of an organization.
  • Specific experience in leading employee relations and performance management required.
